How MiddleWave Tech Works
Meditation,
Engineered Differently.
MiddleWave® combines sound-based brainwave entrainment with a structured mathematical frequency system designed to guide the mind progressively through deeper states of meditation.
Two Frequencies.
One Beat Relationship.
Binaural beats begin when two slightly different frequencies are presented separately to the left and right ears.
That 12.1 Hz difference is the beat-frequency relationship used within the entrainment design.
Beat Frequency And Carrier Frequency Are Not The Same Thing.
The Difference Between The Tones
If one tone is 223.1 Hz and the other is 211.0 Hz, the difference is 12.1 Hz. That difference is the part associated with the entrainment range being worked with.
The Underlying Audible Tones
The carrier frequencies are the underlying tones used to create that beat relationship. They can be shifted lower while preserving the same difference between them.
The Beat Frequency Helps Define The Meditative Territory.
MiddleWave® is designed to move progressively through slower rhythmic ranges associated with different meditative states.
Relaxed attention and settling.
Deeper inward focus and reflection.
Very slow rhythmic territory used in deeper stages.
Used within the system's deepest progression.
Slowing The Beat Changes The State.
Lowering The Carriers Changes The Level.
This distinction is central to the MiddleWave® progression.
The underlying frequencies have moved lower, while the beat relationship has stayed exactly the same. Within the MiddleWave® model, progressively lower carrier frequencies are used to create progressively deeper levels of the system.
Same Beat.
A Deeper Level Of The System.
In the original MiddleWave® design model, lowering the underlying carrier frequencies while preserving the beat relationship is used to create deeper stages of entrainment.
The entire underlying frequency pair moves downward while the intended beat relationship can remain intact.
MiddleWave® treats these progressively lower carrier levels as increasingly deep stages of meditation practice.
The system is designed to move gradually rather than starting every practitioner at its deepest level immediately.
The idea that progressively lower carriers independently create specific neurological outcomes is part of the MiddleWave® design theory and requires further scientific investigation.
The Quieter The Surface,
The Deeper You Can Explore.
Our everyday waking mind can feel like the surface of the ocean — thoughts, decisions, stimulation and mental activity constantly moving.
As the entrainment moves toward slower ranges, the practice is designed to support quieter, more inwardly focused states.
MiddleWave® then progressively lowers its carrier architecture. Within the system's model, this is like travelling further beneath the surface into progressively deeper layers of experience.
Where Marko Rodin's
Vortex-Based Mathematics Comes In.
Marko Rodin's Vortex-Based Mathematics explores recurring digital-root relationships using the numbers 1 through 9 and a 9-point circular model.
When these forward and reverse relationships are combined through digital-root mathematics, recurring 3, 6 and 9 relationships appear.
Within Rodin's framework, these relationships are treated as an underlying qualitative numerical pattern rather than simply isolated quantities.
Think Of It As A Number Family.
A digital root reduces a larger number into a single-digit grouping by adding its individual digits together.
MiddleWave® Turns The Pattern Into A Sound Architecture.
MiddleWave® doesn't simply play 3 Hz, 6 Hz and 9 Hz tones. The numerical relationships are used to help organise the onset frequencies, underlying tones and beat differences throughout the soundtrack.
Choose The Relationships
Actual audio frequencies are selected so they fit within particular digital-root relationships used by the system.
Create The Beat
The difference between selected tones creates the beat-frequency relationship used within the entrainment sequence.
Preserve The Pattern
As the actual Hz values change, selected digital-root relationships can remain consistent — changing the quantity while preserving the intended structure.
Preserve The Structure.
The actual beat frequency has moved significantly lower, while the digital-root family has remained the same.
Within the MiddleWave® design philosophy, this is how the system can move through different entrainment ranges while maintaining a consistent mathematical architecture.
Think About Music.
Music isn't simply a collection of random sounds. Chords, intervals, rhythms and sequences are arranged into relationships that create structure and coherence.
MiddleWave® applies a similar philosophy to its entrainment architecture. Rather than choosing every relationship independently, the system uses a consistent mathematical framework to organise the wider sound field.
This is a design analogy rather than proof that the brain directly detects digital-root arithmetic.
A Layered Sound Environment.
MiddleWave® is designed as a multi-layered system rather than one simple binaural tone placed beneath music.
Different tones presented across the left and right channels.
Additional beat relationships created through interacting sound layers.
Different tones positioned at different points across the stereo field.
Elements can be arranged using different phase positions within the sound field.
Frequency relationships organised according to the MiddleWave® vortex-based framework.
The architecture changes progressively rather than offering disconnected one-off tracks.
When The Noise Settles,
What Was Underneath Can Become Easier To Notice.
MiddleWave® describes deeper stages of practice as a process in which previously unconscious, avoided or unexamined psychological material may begin to enter awareness.
Feelings that may previously have been pushed aside or avoided.
Experiences or associations that can become clearer during deeper reflection.
Habitual reactions, beliefs and conditioning that become easier to observe.
New perspectives on yourself, your behaviour and your experience.
Imagine Carrying A Backpack For Years.
Every unresolved thought, emotional reaction, old story or habitual pattern can feel like another object being carried around.
Within the MiddleWave® practice, “clearing” doesn't mean deleting your past. It means creating enough stillness and awareness for material to be noticed, felt, understood and — where appropriate — no longer held onto in the same way.
People experience this differently. For some, an emotion comes up and passes. For others, an old pattern suddenly becomes obvious. For others, the main change is feeling lighter, clearer or less reactive over time.
Calm Isn't About Having
No Thoughts.
It's about changing your relationship with them.
The practice is designed to create more space from constant mental activity.
Thoughts, emotions and automatic patterns may become easier to observe rather than immediately react to.
Material that enters awareness can be acknowledged instead of repeatedly pushed back beneath the surface.
With practice, there can be more space between an experience and your automatic response to it.
The intended result is greater calm, clarity, emotional balance and the ability to meet everyday life with less internal noise.
The Goal Is Not Just A Deeper Meditation.
It's A Different Relationship With Your Mind.
Individual experiences vary, but the MiddleWave® system is designed around outcomes such as greater internal space, calm and awareness.
More space between you and the constant stream of thought.
Becoming more aware of feelings without automatically being controlled by them.
More opportunity to respond consciously instead of acting from automatic patterns.
A clearer view of thoughts, behaviours, priorities and patterns.
The intended progression is toward greater stillness and balance in everyday life.
Greater awareness of what is happening beneath the surface of thought.

What MiddleWave® Is — And Isn't
MiddleWave® combines sound-based entrainment concepts with its own layered frequency architecture and Vortex-Based Mathematics-inspired design framework.
We can explain how the frequencies are structured, how digital-root relationships are used within that structure, and how the progression is designed.
The specific neurological effect of digital-root relationships themselves has not been conclusively established scientifically. The idea that progressively lower carrier frequencies independently create specific neurological or psychological effects also remains part of the MiddleWave® design model rather than established medical science.
MiddleWave® is designed for meditation and personal development. It is not medical or psychological treatment and should not replace appropriate professional healthcare.
Understanding The Technology Is One Thing.
Experiencing It Is Another.
You don't need to understand every frequency to begin. Just use stereo headphones, press play and follow the practice.
